Biblical History of the Angels

This complete History of the Angels: Walks through the entire Celestial Hierarchy as revealed in the Hebrew and Greek Scriptures

The seraphim who cover their faces before the throne.

The four-faced cherubim who guard the holiness of God.

The Archangels Michael and Gabriel and their roles in cosmic warfare.

The two hundred Watchers who descended on Mount Hermon in the days of Genesis 6.

The Nephilim.

The divine council of the sons of God.

The Accuser in the heavenly courtroom of Job.

And the fall of Satan the anointed cherub — the morning star, Helel ben Shahar — who once covered the very throne of God.

Note: The Bible commands us to be conformed into the image of God in Christ Jesus. It also commands the Angels to be conformed into the image of Jesus Christ.

☆ In the Bible particularly in Daniel and Revelation it can be difficult to discern if it is an Angel or if it is Jesus Christ. Often it is a Holy Angel that is conforming to the image of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel writers have helped us out by pointing out that the person Walking on Water is usually Jesus Christ and not an Angel.

Jesus walking on water is a famous Biblical miracle recorded in the Gospels of Matthew 14:22-33, Mark 6:45-52, and John 6:16-21. – Google

For those He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the (Resurrection) image of His Son (Jesus Christ), so that He (Jesus Christ) would be the Firstborn (Resurrection) among many (Believers) brothers and sisters. – Romans 8:29 CSB

Inspired by the biblical sanctuary and the majesty of God’s throne.

Note: The “Open Door” into Heaven (Revelation 4:1) for the Christian Church is the Rapture of the Christian Church into Heaven.

☆ The Christian Church that began in the “Upper Room” on Easter Sunday (Feast of Firstfruits) concludes with the Rapture the “Open Door” and going into Heaven to the Throne and the visible presence of God.

After saying this, He (Jesus Christ – The Alpha) breathed on them (Disciples) and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit (become a Born Again Christian). – John 20:22 CSB

After this (Christian Church Age) I looked, and there in Heaven was an Open Door. The first voice (Jesus Christ – The Omega) that I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” – Revelation 4:1 CSB

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “the one who is, who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” – Revelation 1:8
